A Social Security number is essential to be able to exercise your right to work or be self employed in Spain. Quarterly Tax Returns for Autónomos

Self-employed individuals in Spain are required to file taxes every quarter. Our quarterly accounting services include:

Autorizacion de regreso

Being in Spain and allowed entry back to Spain while your application is pending are two different things. With digital tracking system introduced in early 2026 non EU passport holders need to be more mindful about travel outside of Schengen area while they don’t have valid TIE due to renewal, card being lost and similar. If you need to travel in this situation it is wise to apply for permission to return (autorizacion de regreso). Depending on your location in Spain it will be processed by national police or regional foreigners office. While the requirements are similar, each location has it’s own process.
